About the Role:
The Neuron Clinic is looking for a driven and experienced Research Department Manager to lead and elevate our research initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the research department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
- Oversee, coordinate, and manage multiple clinical trials from start-up through completion.
- Coordinate trials and/or supervising the clinical research coordinators and research assistants who support trial activities.
- Develop, implement, and manage research protocols, timelines, and project milestones
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate research staff including coordinators, analysts, and support personnel
- Support the recruitment, enrollment, and management of study participants throughout the study process.
- Prepare, organize, and submit required regulatory documents in a timely manner.
- Ensure study specimens and investigational products are stored, handled, and tracked properly.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, external partners, and sponsors to drive research objectives
- Monitor research budgets, resource allocation, and departmental expenditures
- Ensure adherence to IRB, GCP, and FDA regulations across all active studies
- Prepare and present research findings, reports, and updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Proactively identify and anticipate strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks that could affect business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree in a related scientific or healthcare field preferred
- Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management software.
- 2+ years of experience in clinical or medical research management
- Strong knowledge of IRB processes, GCP guidelines, and FDA regulations
- Proven leadership and team management experience in a research setting
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Experience with research data management systems and clinical trial software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
